District Educational Office, Parvathipuram Manyam, under the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, aims to implement and monitor the state education system effectively at the district level. Through academic, co-curricular, and administrative activities, the office strives to ensure quality education and operational efficiency in all government-managed schools in the district.
The office aims to be a key enabler in transforming the educational landscape by strengthening school-level governance, facilitating teacher empowerment, ensuring student welfare, and supporting infrastructure development. The DEO works closely with stakeholders to enhance academic standards, improve school management systems, and contribute to the goals set forth in Vision 2029. The mission of the District Educational Office is to ensure that children in the district receive equitable access to education and develop into responsible, confident, and competent citizens.
The DEO directly supervises the functioning of foundational, primary, upper primary, and high schools across all mandals of the district. It coordinates with Mandal Educational Officers (MEOs), Deputy Educational Officers (DyEOs), and headmasters to implement schemes, monitor outcomes, and ensure accountability in the system.
The District Educational Office plays a crucial role in strengthening school education by supporting the implementation of flagship programs such as Mana Badi Nadu-Nedu, improving learning outcomes, tracking teacher performance, and providing academic support and resources to schools in both urban and tribal regions.
The office also ensures effective delivery of services like student kits, midday meals, teacher transfers, and school infrastructure upgrades. All these efforts are focused on creating an inclusive and forward-looking education ecosystem in Parvathipuram Manyam, with the vision of nurturing students into global citizens with a bright future.
